Lead Me Here to This

Since I am only a few weeks away from welcoming baby girl into our home, I've been thinking a lot. Probably too much. What else is new? But thinking about all the changes that are headed our way. Not only is our family growing, but I am quitting my job, and we will be moving to Logan, Utah. So many changes. For a girl who hates change as much as I do, I am feeling super unprepared. While I was at work yesterday I was listening to likes on my YouTube channel, when this song by Darius Rucker popped up. As I sat there listening while I mindlessly worked, I realized that we are right where we are supposed to be. We may have missed lights or something along the way, but all of those moments lead us to where we are now. I appreciate these quiet moments that just hit me. I know everything is going to be ok and work out how it is supposed to because we were lead to this.

When Jared and I met at SUU, it was because a class was cancelled so we could go and make the copies we needed to start our first assignment. Neither of us were ever in that same place at the same time again the rest of that semester. I know our Heavenly Father has a plan for us. I just need to trust more and worry less. Everything will work out. I'm grateful I was reminded of that in such a small way.

  1. Exciting new things coming your way! Congrats on your baby girl! You will love Logan. I LOVE it so much and am so sad to leave. I wish we could have lived in Logan at the same time. Miss you!
