Music and Dad

Isn't it amazing how a song can hit you and take personal meaning? I guess because I am getting married and life is changing this happens to me on a regular basis. I was driving to Panguitch and I was listening to some of my favorite country songs when one came on that brought tears to my eyes. I have always been a daddy's girl and he is going to give me away. Don't get me wrong I am very excited for that day to come, but at the same time I will never forget all of my memories with dad. Hunting, fishing, the snow mobile, and many more. Today is even his birthday. I love him so much! I am grateful to have the dad that I have had to grow up with. He is one of the greatest examples I have in my life. I love you dad!

Friends in Bryce

This was a really nice weekend. Jared came and we spent Saturday afternoon and evening together. We traveled all over the Bryce area exploring and showing Jared all the pretty places I love here!

Then came Sunday. Usually a hard day because I like to go to church. I got to go to church today. The even better part of it was being able to have Sunday dinner with a family. My BFF Deysha invited me over for dinner. It was very nice not to spend the day in my room. It was good to be welcomed back into the Cannonville Ward so warmly today. Everyone was nice and it was fun to see how much the little kids had grown. I am so grateful for friends and family that love me.

Musical Mania

I have been working a lot lately. Something that has helped the time pass is remembering the musicals I was in while I was in high school. I like to sing them while I am at work. The past few days the musical stuck in my head has been

My Fair Lady

This was the musical my sophomore year of high school. It was fun to relive all the memories of the musical as well as sing all the songs.

This isn't the only one. Last summer I rewrote songs to make my own musical. I rewrote Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray.

It is fun to know a few musicals because their songs can be applied almost anywhere. It is also entertaining for those working with you.

The Start of a Very Long Super Short Summer

On April 16, 2011 my best friend proposed to me and we are getting married on August 11, 2011. I am so excited! In the midst of wedding planning and such we still found the time for some fun.

We went on a hike after we drove up Saddle Pass road. It was a windy car sick kind of ride. When we go up there we hiked down to an old air plane crash. We even had Rob take some pictures of us. No, they are not engagement pictures, but it was still a lot of fun.

I think we're just so cute!

The Best

This post is coming a little late. This year I had the opportunity to serve in Relief Society. It was so much fun and the best calling ever. I loved the girls I became friends with and all of the people inmy ward I got to know. We took a lot of pictures at our very last meeting. It was a lot of fun and bitter sweet because we realized everything was changing and none of us were going to be in the same place or ward next year. I'm glad for all of the memories we made.

We like to take pictures with animals.

Best Friends!

I'm sad this chapter in life is over, but excited for what comes next! I love these girls and I am grateful for everything they did for me.

I Found My Forever

Saturday April 16, 2011 was probably one of the best days of my life thus far. I was in Loa for the weekend with Jared and his family. We decided to go on a 4-wheeler ride. I thought it was just a nice outing with a picnic for fun. Especially since Jared's sisters Susan and Jessica were coming along. We went to Sand Creek by Torrey,Utah. It was a really pretty area. We rode to a beautiful overlook. I took a lot of pictures of it because it was so pretty. We all ate our lunch and enjoyed the scenery. Then the girls needed to go to the bathroom. So they got on their 4-wheeler and left. I thought that was weird, because there were plenty of trees around. Then Jaredtold me he had a surprise for me. He opened his backpack and pulled out a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers. I though is he proposing? So I looked in the flowers for a ring. Nothing. So we took a few pictures at the overlook with my flowers. Then he asked what I thought my ring size was. I said a six I guess. He asked me how positive I was and I told him 99%. He then said, "I have a ring with me if you want to try it on. I got butterflies and thought is it really coming or is he just tricking me. He got down on one knee and sat there with the ring box closed for a little bit. Then he opened it. I am officially engaged to Jared! I couldn't be any happier!

Here is a few pictures :)
