Nashville's Bluebird Cafe

Tuesday was a fabulous day! The Bluebird Cafe from Nashville was on campus. This was a huge deal to me. For as long as I can remember Nashville has been at the top of my vacation list for the United States. It was just as great as I had anticipated it being. There were three song writers there, Lari White, Marc Beeson, and James House. They were incredible. They each sang songs they have written that have become famous on the charts and they even talked about their journey to success. Whether that was the first song they recorded or signing a record deal.  I loved every minute of this convocation and I did not want it to end.

Here are a few pictures of the events.

This was such an amazing experience. I'm so glad I was able to go and learn about how these songwriters made it in Nashville.

Now for a video of a song each of them wrote to share.

What I'm For: Recorded by Pat Green, written by Marc Beeson and Allen Shamblin

Lead Me Not Into Tempatation: Written and performed by Lari White

A Broken Wing: Written by James House, Sam Hogin and Phil Barnhart, performed by Martina McBride
