Disappointment

Disappointment hits all of us at different times in our lives. I am trying to be a big girl. I applied for a big girl job. I didn't get it. I was really sad that I wasn't given a chance to show that I could do the job and do it well. But then, new things come to us and it is wonderful! I may have received a part time job offer today that has to do with event planning and management. I am very excited. I can't wait to talk more to the employer about it. I will keep you posted to see what happens. I guess in the end it is better to keep on living and looking for new opportunities because you never know what is waiting to knock on your door.

Jared's Birthday Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. It was Jared's birthday and most of his family came down to celebrate with us. Here are a few pictures of Jared's presents.

Jared really wanted to hike Angels Landing in Zion National Park for his birthday activity. So we went and hiked it. It was one of the scariest things I have ever done! However, we survived. We are all alive. We even got to enjoy some beautiful sunshine. Here are some pictures of the hike and us hiking.

The first picture from the hike is a lady who hiked to the top just to play her bagpipes so she could cross it off her bucket list. It was a cool experience. Jared took a few pictures that are probably better than mine. I'll get him to post them.

Spring Break

I wish this post would include the grand adventures Jared and I have taken this break in the spring, but the only adventures we have gone on is to and from work. I know we are super boring! However, a super awesome trip will await us sometime... in the future... For now, I will craft my little heart out. I will post pictures of what I have made soon.
