Goodbye: BRYCE CANYON PINES

I wanted to write and share a few of my favorite memories from the last three summers. I can't believe it has all come to an end.

The best fishing trip of my Pines summers was when everyone who wasn't working went fishing with Rory and Russell. It was a blast. We caught so many fish we even had enough fish to make fish soup.

Deysha, Megan and I went on a road trip to Rory's new restaurant. We stopped at every place along the way and took tons of pictures. Who would have thought we would learn about the "Biology of Human Frogs in the Language or Orange Chicken".

Jose tried to throw me in the dumpster because I laughed at something funny he did. I could not stop laughing after that.

Who could forget Arj making delicious treats for any special day. From last days, to birthdays we were never lacking in delicious treats!

Holy Woof!

Then there was the camp fire with Joe, Paula, Rusty, Trista, Kelton, Kip, a few others and Marty. He sang camp songs I think he wrote himself.

Ethel's pie inspired many songs for the musical.

Love you Pumpkin!

The Cannonville Ward is the best ward I have ever attended. I have never felt so welcomed and apart of something I was only visiting.

You just gotta love the Rodeo and the fireworks after on the 4th of July. I was glad to have Hannah to go with me.

Trip to Mossy Cave and Clarke's for a night out on the town.

Or the countdown chain for the wedding.

So many memories, so many friends. It is hard to say goodbye. I wouldn't have had the wonderful experiences I have had in my summers at BCP if it wasn't for all of the people who I have met. I love you all so much. Thanks for everything!

Love,
Char

I've Wished Summer Away

I realized tonight I have wished summer away. It is kind of stupid of me, but I am very excited for what lies at the end of the summer so, I haven't been living each day. I hope it isn't too late to start.

The Past is Behind
Learn From It
The Future is Ahead
Prepare For It
The Present is Here
LIVE IT!
Thomas S. Monson

I have done a lot of really fun things. So the summer hasn't been a total waste. I just hope I can enjoy what little time of summer is left. At work the other day a lady I work with reminded me, I am going to miss this time in my life. So I am going to enjoy the last two weeks of my engagement and try to not wish them away. Wish me luck! :)

June Was a Busy One

June sure was busy. Between Lake Powell, Engagement pictures, work, and everything else, it seems I have not had time to write. Well I have a sec now.

Today marks mine and Jared's 10 month anniversary. I can't believe it has been that long already. The time has just flown right on by. I'm a luck girl to have him.

Here are some of our favorite engagement pictures that didn't make it to Facebook.

Summer is flying right by. Only 32 days left until I am a married lady!

Lake Powell!

Well my first experience with Lake Powell was a success. I went this last weekend with my Hamilton Family. The water was a little chilly and we didn't catch any fish. Besides that, it was better than I expected!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the joyous occasion.

We had a great time!

Bryce Canyon Pines: The Musical... Continued

I am a musical genius! Why am I waiting tables?? Just kidding however, it is very fun and easy to write about Pines. Here is the latest addition to the musical.

Home, Home at the Pines
(Tune: Home, Home on the Range)

Home, home at the Pines
Where we serve soup and pie
Where seldom is heard, a negative word
About Ethel's world famous pies.

The end!

Music and Dad

Isn't it amazing how a song can hit you and take personal meaning? I guess because I am getting married and life is changing this happens to me on a regular basis. I was driving to Panguitch and I was listening to some of my favorite country songs when one came on that brought tears to my eyes. I have always been a daddy's girl and he is going to give me away. Don't get me wrong I am very excited for that day to come, but at the same time I will never forget all of my memories with dad. Hunting, fishing, the snow mobile, and many more. Today is even his birthday. I love him so much! I am grateful to have the dad that I have had to grow up with. He is one of the greatest examples I have in my life. I love you dad!
